Two new free zip lines are being installed in Gran Via

Two new free zip lines are being installed in Barcelona on the traffic-free stretch of Gran Via between Glòries and Rambla de Poblenou.

It is expected to be inaugurated in the coming days with the great novelty that one of them will be the first in the city 100% adapted for people with reduced mobility, particularly children in wheelchairs.

The zip lines in Poblenou are two new urban elements whose extension goes from the Les Glòries shopping center to the Rambla del Poblenou.

They are located on the red section of the roadway and can be used free of charge.

The zip lines will have yellow supports so that children using them can have fun safely.

One of the two new zip lines is adapted for children in wheelchairs and although the specific date of its inauguration is not yet known, it is believed that it will be operational very soon.

In the works that are being carried out, its main elements can already be seen, such as the striking yellow poles and a red rope that are part of the new attraction.

It is the first accessible zip line in Barcelona.

Concrete benches are also being installed in the area.
