Las Ramblas

Sunday mornings are the scene of beautiful handicrafts that are available for you to buy.

Plaza Sant Josep Oriol

Here you can find small markets with high quality handicrafts. In fact right there you will find painters selling their own works.

La Rambla de Santa Mónica (near Colón)

There you can find a wide assortment of costume jewelry such as rings, earrings, bracelets and other accessories. In this area you will also find toys made of cardboard or wood.

Avenida Portal del Ángel (08002 Barcelona)

You’ll find craft markets where prestigious ceramic items are sold. The Portal de l’Angel is one of the busiest streets in the center of the Catalan capital that gives access from Plaza Catalunya to the Gothic Quarter.

This whole area is full of stores and businesses, but at the beginning of the street you can find craft stands with objects made of different materials. They are made of recycled paper, leather, silver, cloth bags, costume jewelry, and even clothes with special designs. Traditionally the stalls change exhibitors (handicraft sellers) every two weeks.

The market operates every day from 10 am to 9 pm.

Uptown Ciutat Vella

At the entrance of Gúell Park and in some stores in the old town as Escudellers street, you can buy figures made with colorful mosaics with the pure and original Gaudinian style.

El Poble Espanyol

It is par excellence the shopping center for handicrafts in Barcelona. Open 365 days a year and is home to more than 20 artisans of all generations. They work with their hands live and direct objects of leather, glass, ceramics or jewelry.

It was listed as a Zone of Craft Interest and is the best and largest sample of crafts in Barcelona and Catalonia. There you will find original and personalized handicraft creations. In passing you will enjoy a quiet walk without traffic or crowds.

The craft workshops of the Poble Espanyol are located inside some of the buildings of the enclosure distributed by geographical areas: Mediterranean, South, Center, North and Camino de Santiago. Hours: Winter: from 10 am to 6 pm; Summer: from 10 am to 8 pm; Autumn and spring: from 10 am to 7 pm.
