Women and LGTBIQ+ groups will have a free bus in Cornellà's Fiesta Mayor


The Barcelona City Council has taken measures to


guarantee the security


during the days of the celebration of the Festa Major de Cornellà.

Among them, two bus lines will be allowed to operate free of charge: L1, following the route of bus 94, and L2, following the route of bus 95, for women and LGTBIQ+ groups.

Each line will have a frequency of 20 minutes, which will allow a frequency of 10 minutes in the central and common areas.

Passengers will also be dropped off on demand along the routes, which in turn will be linked to the city’s main public transport stations.

The bus service will appear to operate on the nights of June 16, 17 and 18, 2022, between 9:30 pm and 3:00 am.

It will also be held on Sunday, June 19 from 9:30 p.m. to midnight.

In the same way, safe itineraries are designed for walking between the different activities and concerts.

It is worth mentioning that at the main concert and party venues, Purple Points will be set up with traditional tents with purple signs for the attention of women.

For its part, the Guardia Urbana of Cornellà will expand the security arrangements through the reinforcement of surveillance with 161 troops: 133 security guards and security assistants, two teams of security guards and video surveillance cameras.

The concerts will also be supported by the Mossos d’Esquadra and other emergency services to ensure safe events.
