Hisop: Barcelona's cheapest Michelin star restaurant

Hisop is the name of the Michelin-starred restaurant that has held the star since 2010. And having this distinction is not necessarily synonymous with unaffordable prices.

It is distinguished because every three months they change the menu and in its 21 years of activity, no dish of the tasting menu has ever been repeated.

The restaurant is in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi (number 9 pasaje de Marimon).

The secret of its success and permanence in time is that it has preserved its origins and essence since it obtained the star.

But the best proposal for diners is to be able to eat in a high-end restaurant for a price of 38 euros (value that does not include drinks).

It is the cheapest alternative among the 29 Michelin-starred restaurants in the city.

Tasting menu: the most requested dish at Michelin-starred restaurant

With the 38 euros Hisop offers you: two appetizers, an appetizer (of two to choose from), fish or meat and dessert or cheese to close.

Neither the beverage nor the coffee at the end of the meal are included in this menu.

The dish is considered the best option that fits into a daily menu. In fact, the owner says that 90% of his diners come to the restaurant to try the tasting menu.

Although Hisop never repeats a dish, there is one that remains valid over time and is the flagship dish of the house: the red mullet, which costs 28 euros.

Barcelona is a privileged city with the rain of Michelin stars.
