Barcelona's civic centers exhibit itinerant art

“Temporals” is a municipal program that coordinates a series of traveling exhibitions in the Civic Centers of Barcelona.

In total there are eight exhibitions in 13 neighborhoods of the city that will be displayed throughout the year, in order to know the great artistic activity of the city, the talent and their works.

This initiative of the Barcelona City Council seeks to consolidate itself in the future as a framework for the presentation of new artistic projects full of sensitivity and expression.

The artists through their traveling exhibitions work with new languages. Some of them with an advanced technological discourse through which they expose the concerns of our time.

Some of the works address themes related to environmental care, environmental sustainability, emotional relationships with others, among others of great social interest.

The program seeks to show the future of art in Barcelona, as well as to introduce topics for debate in exhibition spaces, where art exhibitions are active and interactive scenarios with the participation of different neighborhood groups.

In this way, eight exhibitions will rotate throughout the year in 13 neighborhoods of the civic centers of the Catalan capital.

You can wait for one of the exhibitions to arrive at the nearest civic center so that you can go to see it or look for one of your interest and go to the place.

Study on the monarchy

Intertextuals

Project by artist Marla Jacarilla. Art of the image and art of the word in the same space. And they are not necessarily verbal languages. Among them, video creation, installation or performance. The objective is to encourage reflection on reality and fiction, as two worlds that always interact with each other. Gardens under the asphalt

The work invites us to think about the transformation suffered by human beings in today’s cities in the midst of a climate alert. Can Basté Civic Center from 16/02 to 01/04; Pere Pruna CC from 20/04 to 03/06 and Guinardó CC from 05/10 to 25/11.
