This year, attendees will be able to enjoy five renewed activities:

  1. The saucer route
  2. Gourmet menus
  3. Signature sandwiches
  4. Themed dinners
  5. Gourmet experiences

The restoration of the commercial axis of Paseo de Gracia will be a good place to bring the gastronomic variety of the different restaurants in the area to the public.

A total of 22 restaurants will participate, with a total of 7 Michelin stars.

Participating will be: Aleia (Hotel Casa Fuster) one star; Momentos (Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona) two stars; Oria (Monument Hotel) with 1 star and the Lasarte (Monument Hotel) 3 stars.

In the coming days will be announced all the restaurants that will be part of the 2023 edition of the Passeig dels Gourmets, which is held every year in the Catalan capital.

For this sixth edition, tasting menus with original and delicious menu-type proposals will also be offered for a price of 50 euros. This value includes Cava, Damm or Royal Bliss beer. The menu can also be enjoyed with a wine pairing.

Barcelona: territory for good food

Recently the tourism and travel portal Tripadvisor, based on the opinions of its users, chose Barcelona as the sixth best city in the world to eat.

The Catalan capital managed to occupy a place among the ten best cities on the planet, thanks to its excellent gastronomy and the variety of dishes and ingredients.

And this recognition was created by the portal, because in recent years food has reached the category of art and culture.

In Barcelona, for example, it is possible to find some Michelin-starred restaurants where you can eat exquisitely for less than 50 euros.

In fact, it has 24 Michelin-starred restaurants for the variety of dishes they offer, their gastronomic excellence and excellent service.

Barcelona was the only representative of Spain to earn a place in the Top 10. The first place went to Italy with Rome in first place, Florence in fourth place and Naples in eighth place.

In the 2022 edition awards, Barcelona ranked fifth in the same category among the best cities in the world to eat.

Being in the top ten is a great distinction for the city.
