Touring Barcelona by Segway

Touring Barcelona by Segway

How many times have you traveled around the city by traditional means of transport? This time we propose you to travel it in a very different way. What do you think if you dare to tour Barcelona by Segway in the company of an experienced guide, following a special itinerary and discovering far away corners that are not common?

This simple means of transportation takes you in an original and fun way. The “Segway Personal Transporter” is a lightweight, two-wheeled, self-balancing, gyroscopic electric vehicle controlled by an integrated microprocessor.

How the Segway works

Thanks to the computer that controls it and the motor located inside the base, the vehicle remains horizontal at all times. All you have to do is tilt the control stick and handlebars in the direction you want to go (backwards, forwards, left or right).

The Segway’s motor is electric and silent and can reach 20 km/h, with an average battery autonomy of 45 km with permanent use.
