The news that Sartoria Panatieri has made it onto the podium of the world’s best pizzerias has caused a stir in the gastronomic community. This meteoric rise in the rankings is even more impressive when you consider that in 2022 it was ranked 21st.
Moreover, in the 2023 European ranking, published in May, this Catalan pizzeria was crowned the best in Europe, surpassing even Italian pizzerias.

The list of the 100 best pizzerias in the world reveals a diverse international pizza scene. Cities such as New York, Naples and Rome are strongly represented, each with five pizzerias in the ranking.
Other cities such as Tokyo, London, Milan and Caserta (Italy) also have a strong presence, with four pizzerias each. The ranking was made public at a gala held at the Court Theater of the Royal Palace in Naples.
