Notable People is an interactive map created from a list of people published by the magazine “Nature”.
The novelty is that the map allows you to discover who is the most famous character in your city.
What is most striking is that while some celebrities are well known in certain parts of the world, in others they are totally anonymous.
In fact, in some countries they cannot go out on the street because they are besieged by fans or paparazzi. But in other places no one suspects his fame.
The interactive map was created by developer Topi Tjukanov and is published on the Github platform. Tjukanov created the map in order to reveal the most famous character in every city, town and corner of the planet. The only thing you have to do is to zoom in with a click on some area of the globe.
It should be noted that the list used includes both living and deceased characters.
The characters included in the map are those published by a study of the journal Nature, which was given the task of classifying public historical figures according to the level of importance and areas of origin, between the year 3500 BC and 2018 of our era.

From there you will be able to locate yourself for example in Barcelona and when you click on it you will see the name of the most recognized celebrity or historical character in the region.
