The LEGO Group proudly presents “The Insect Collection”. Its creator, the Spaniard José María Pérez Suero, will be present at the official launch at the LEGO Store Barcelona to sign sets from the new line on Saturday, September 9, 2023 between 10:00 and 12:00.
In addition, virtual connections can be made with fans in other cities, such as Madrid and Seville, where signing events will also be held.
This amazing collection promises to immerse enthusiasts in the magical world of insects in a whole new way. The magic of LEGO merges with the wonder of nature in this exciting collection.
To celebrate this exciting launch, the LEGO Group has come up with something special: a unique playlist called “Green Noise”.
This ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) playlist is an immersive listening experience that captures the unique sounds of each insect present in the collection.
Inspired by nature and created with meticulous attention to detail, “Green Noise” provides listeners with a sensory experience that combines the distinctive clicks and sounds of insects with the art and magic of LEGO bricks.

“The Insect Collection” is the 50th product on the LEGO Ideas platform, which has proven to be a valuable space for LEGO fans to share their creations and ideas.
This collection takes José María’s creativity to the next level, featuring three stunning insects in their carefully recreated natural habitats. The blue morpho butterfly, the Hercules beetle and the Chinese mantis are the protagonists of this new LEGO adventure.
Each insect is presented in its own separate display, capturing the essence and beauty of its natural habitat.
The blue morpho butterfly finds its home on a branch in the Amazon rainforest, while the male Hercules beetle perches on a rotting log, transporting us to Central America.
And as for the Chinese mantis, it can be assembled on a branch in an Asian forest, which in turn shares space with a small seven-spotted ladybug located among the flowers.

For LEGO VIPs worldwide “The Insect Collection” will be available from September 4, 2023 and from September 7 for other fans. Suggested retail price: 79,99 €.
