Casa Vincens celebrates its reopening with tickets for 5 euros

The beautiful Casa Vicens, the first house of Antoni Gaudí, celebrates its 5 years of reopening as a museum with the sale of 500 tickets at 5 euros.

The promotion seeks to open the doors of the Casa to the city.

This architectural jewel is catalogued as Gaudí’s most impressive and unknown treasure in Barcelona. It is something like the architect’s hidden jewel.

It is located halfway between La Sagrada Familia and the hidden Colonia Güell.

Reopening as a museum with tickets for 5 euros

And it is already the fifth anniversary of the reopening of the House as a museum. It was therefore decided to put the 500 tickets on sale at 5 euros each.

If you are interested in purchasing them, please visit their website at
www.casavicens.org
the code VANIVERSARI in the purchase process in the link “Free visit”.

Stay tuned because they will be available to the public from November 16 at 00.01h and for only 24 hours.

Simultaneously and as promotional work, unpublished information about the process of rehabilitation and restoration of the building between 2014 and 2017 will be published on the Instagram profile of Casa Vicens.

During these three years the objective was to recover as much as possible of Antoni Gaudí’s project as a summer house built at the end of the 19th century (between 1883 and 1885) and designed at the time for the stockbroker, Manel Vicens i Montaner.

The beautiful building was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005.

You may have visited Barcelona’s iconic buildings many times before.

However, you can not miss this opportunity because it is to enjoy again this real jewel of the Catalan capital.

Beyond La Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera or Park Güell, Casa Vicens is undoubtedly one of the most wonderful works of the architect.

A visit to Vincens House

Discovering the nooks and crannies of the Casa is an event. In the traditional visits you will be able to live an exquisite gastronomic experience. Starting with a sensational yogurt and raspberry cake, flavored with rose tea.

Another site of the Casa worth seeing is the roof of the building, which offers privileged views.

But the most beautiful thing to appreciate is the architectural beauty of this mixed and modern building where Catalan techniques are integrated with Islamic, English and Japanese ones.

It is a small oasis of beauty that you can visit on this anniversary.

In fact, as a museum project, Casa Vicens reflects the essence of Gaudí’s world.

As a museum it is a space for research, knowledge, meetings, culture and leisure. The Casa offers temporary and permanent exhibitions, as well as cultural and educational activities in various artistic disciplines.
