Andrés Reisinger is an Argentinian artist based in Barcelona since 2018. Year in which he decided to set up his own studio to give free rein to his projects characterised by being surrealist, digital and whose main colour is pink.

His last year has been marked by intense activity in his field. He developed several highly attractive works, including a residence in the metaverse, called Winter House, as well as a short film in which poetry, sound and images merge, called Arcadia.

And his most recent work, an urban, surreal and very attractive world called Take Over, has given a lot to talk about. His thousands of followers wonder whether it is real, a render or a site-specific work that they can attend. On Reisinger’s Instagram feed you can see images of shops, shop windows and buildings customised in the best style of the Argentinian digital designer and artist.

A work that oscillates between the real and the virtual, the latest from this Argentinian artist.

Take Over has taken over some of the world’s most important capitals and now it seems that they float between the real and the virtual. On the social network you can see romantic, enveloping, soft and extraordinary spaces, all covered with draped pink fabrics. They are incredible façades covered with furry walls or even with many layers of soft tulle, which finally give the work a haute couture result.

The works of the Barcelona-based Argentinian challenge the notion of reality and take viewers between the virtual and the physical. Take Over proposes a world in which geographical borders do not exist.
