Paco de Lucía: the legend who turned flamenco into an art form

Paco de Lucía is considered one of the greatest guitarists in history who made flamenco known all over the world.

He was born on December 21, 1947 in the neighborhood of La Fuensanta in Algeciras (Cadiz), a very popular neighborhood with a strong gypsy influence. His siblings and the street familiarized him since he was a child with flamenco, a genre that led him to national and international success.

He passed away on February 25, 2014 at the age of 66. All tributes to his music and his legacy as an artist and a person are always welcome.
