Just a few hours from Barcelona, MónNatura Pirineus offers a new season full of fresh and exciting activities for the whole family.

The 22nd edition, which starts on February 9, 2024, promises to reveal the Pyrenees from unprecedented perspectives, challenging the imagination and opening doors to the exploration of nature and the sky.

The majesty of the Pyrenees, that scenic jewel that caresses the Catalan lands, is presented as an irresistible invitation for those seeking to immerse themselves in nature and discover its secrets.

The intriguing trail of the wild cat becomes the perfect journey for those who wish to follow in the footsteps of these mysterious creatures that inhabit the Pyrenees. Through an audio guide, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the hidden secrets of the region while following the path marked by the paws of the elusive wild cat.

The tour includes stops at 10 interpretive points, providing insights into the flora and fauna of the Son Planes, from talpon and ants to high mountain vegetation.

Cosmic journey: contemplating the galaxies at MónNatura Pirineus

Nothing beats the experience of admiring the starry sky in the middle of nature, away from artificial lights and noises. For astronomy lovers, MónNatura Pirineus offers a unique astronomical visit.

This activity includes a fascinating session in the planetarium followed by a visit to the astronomical observatory at nightfall. An unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in the vast universe and marvel at the magnificence of the night sky.

Environmental education for schools

Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera provides schools with a unique opportunity to move the natural science classroom outdoors. Workshops, activities and visits designed to deepen the concepts that characterize the environment of MónNatura Pirineus are added to the educational offer.

MónNatura Pirineus: More than a Nature Center

Inaugurated in 2002, MónNatura Pirineus is not only an activity center, but also a bioclimatic building covering more than 3,000 square meters. Using renewable energies, the center is divided into activity and residential areas, housing a planetarium, an auditorium and a laboratory.
