Javier Gutiérrez (b. 1971) is a Spanish actor who has been nominated four times and won two Goya Awards for his work in the films La isla mínima and El Autor. Her career as a performer began in theater and her popularity started thanks to her work in film and television. He is one of the most recognized actors in Spanish cinema, from which we can highlight titles such as El otro lado de la cama by Emilio Martínez-Lázaro; Un franco, 14 pesetas by Carlos Iglesias; El desconocido by Dani de la Torre; El Olivo by Iciar Bollain; and, of course, Campeones by Javier Fesser, the star of the last day of the Ciclo Cine Viajero.

This comedy follows Marco (Javier Gutiérrez), a guy without much optimism who, through the vicissitudes of life, ends up coaching a basketball team made up of boys with disabilities. Directed by Javier Fesser, Campeones was the big winner at the last edition of the Goya Awards, where it won, among others, the award for Best Film. With 11 nominations, the story starring Javier Gutiérrez also won the Goya for Best Original Song and Best New Actor for Jesús Vidal.
