The renowned Forbes magazine published the list “The World’s Best Employers 2021”. It highlights the best companies to work for in the world.
Last year, the pandemic greatly influenced the selection of companies, as all had to implement measures to protect and take into account their employees.
The leading financial and business information magazine published the list of companies in alphabetical order. All as a way to exalt and recognize the work of each one of them.
The best companies to work for in Barcelona
The list is headed by Samsung, IBM and Microsoft.
By economic sector, the top ten include technology companies. Many of them are manufacturing and engineering.
The Korean company Samsung (548,000 workers), ranked first. In second and third place are the U.S. multinationals IBM (370,000 employees) and Microsoft (181,000 workers), respectively.
The top 5 ranking is completed by Amazon, in fourth place, a multinational e-commerce and cloud computing services company (one million employees).
Apple in fifth place, producer of software, electronic equipment and online services (147,000 workers).
The list continues with, among others, the following companies:
- Dell Technologies, offers computers, cloud computing, servers and data storage.
- Huawei, a leading Chinese company in telecommunications equipment and consumer electronics.
- Adobe, a software company specializing in web, image and digital video editing software.
- BMW Group, a German manufacturer of luxury and high-end motorcycles and cars, headquartered in Munich.
