Villa Bugatti programs gastronomic concerts to boost cultural revival

It is a musical and gastronomic experience that allows attendees to merge the senses of taste and hearing to enter the universes of very different musical groups: Blaumut, Pep Plaza&Big Band Jazz Maresme, Daniel Ligorio and Manu Guix. All of them are part of the program of the Villa Bugatti Nights for this July, a lineup created by the musical director of the Festival, Emma Conde.

The gastronomic menus have been designed by chef Toni Vallory and will be prepared mainly with local products.

The large extension of Villa Bugatti’s gardens allows events to be held outdoors while respecting the safety distance between attendees so that they can dine and dance with friends or family members attending the event without having to come into contact with the rest of the guests. The organization ensures compliance with all safety and security standards established by the regulations of the deconfinement phase.

Four nights of music and gastronomy for this month of July

On Friday, July 17, the cycle will be inaugurated by the group Blaumut, which this year has released a new album: 0001.The tasting menu will have as its first starter a tasting of “Bread with oil and salt” as a tribute to one of the emblematic songs of the musical group, and will close with a dessert of “Grass path with fresh mint ice cream with sunflowers seeking the light”, inspired by the songs “Bicicletas” and “Viento que mueve el tiempo” (Wind that moves time).

Five days later, on July 25, comedian Pep Plaza and the Big Band Jazz Maresme will arrive at Villa Bugatti for an open dress rehearsal before the scheduled performance at the Cruïlla Barcelona Festival. An original and fun show, where music and characterizations of the characters are part of the show “Jazz Estamos aquí”, which will be accompanied by a gastronomic tasting with buffet tables of local products.

The July program is closed by the composer, musical director and performer Manu Guix, who will perform at Villa Bugatti on July 31. Attendees will be able to taste, among many other dishes, an “Apple DO Girona stuffed with cod brandade, peas and vermouth honey” inspired by the piece El Rock de Vilassar de Mar, from El Disco de los Optimistas.
