Until September 29th you can enjoy at Versus Teatre Oceà (Ocean), the Catalan theatrical version of Oceano mare, by Alessandro Baricco.
This play will be performed at Versus Teatre by actors Bárbara Roig, Francesca Vadell, Lara Díez, Ramón Bonheví, Iván Rodilla, Dani Ledesma and Cels Campos, who give life to the main characters of this intense story.
The play takes us back many years, to an unfortunate day, in a random ocean, when a French navy frigate was shipwrecked. That distant and sad day 147 men trusted in the sea and tried to save their lives by clinging to a huge raft, which was, together with hope, the only thing they had left in the middle of that water desert. That horror lasted for days and days. Years after the tragic day, a man arrived on the shore of a random ocean accompanied by a promise of revenge, and also by a beautiful woman, a peculiar and extravagant painter, a professor with a strange name and a young girl who did not want to die.
