BAUM festival returns, with tattoos, break dancing, extreme sports

A whole variety of activities and programming is what you can enjoy at the upcoming BAUM 2019 festival between October 4 and 6 in Barcelona. The main venue for the seventh edition of BAUM is the Fira facilities, one of the most important fairgrounds in Europe.

The program will also include the twenty-second Barcelona Tattoo Expo, the urban culture event par excellence.

As is traditional in Barcelona, the festival will bring together various disciplines of art and urban culture. It is estimated that BAUM 2019 will be visited by some 18,000 people.

BAUM Festival 2019: an alternative weekend

Breaking schemes you will have the opportunity to live experiences without equal enjoying the magic of art in one place: dance, motorcycles, tattoo, graffiti, sports, concerts and gastronomy.

The centerpiece of the event will be the Barcelona Tattoo Convention 2019, which will bring together the best local and international tattoo artists. These artists will be in charge of giving demonstrations to the public and your skin can be one of their canvases.

Extreme sports

The festival will have an area for extreme sports. Money For Trick BMX competitions will be held in the Street and Park categories and Skate and In Line competitions in the Street categories.

During this day there will be a free activity aimed at children and adults to make their first practices in BMX all within the framework of the 360 Bike Show. There you will have helmets, bicycles and monitors at your disposal.

The prize package for the three competition modalities will be 900€ in cash and 2500€ in material rewards. These values will be divided among the winners of the three categories where there will be juries for each one of them.

Other activities

  • Art on Wheels” contest for motorcycle enthusiasts and their world. You will be able to enjoy spectacular motorcycles manufactured by the best national and foreign constructors.
  • Urban dances with Breaking AllStyles & Breaking Bboy Battle.
  • Dance school shows.
  • Indoor Food truck, an area for visitors to enjoy a variety of traditional dishes such as tapas, oriental, Mexican, vegan, raw, among others.

Children up to 12 years of age are free of charge, as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult.
