bargelona

Definitely, in Barcelona, if you get bored, it’s because you want to…

Now, and until January, you have one more leisure option in the city, to enjoy alone, with friends, as a couple, even as a family with the little ones…

Since last Friday, November 21, the ice rink in Plaza de Cataluña known as “Bargelona” has opened its doors to the public…. And they will remain open until January 11, 2015 so that anyone who wants to enjoy ice skating can do so without leaving the city.

Industrialists, designers, production people, lighting, sound, photographers, maintenance or track personnel will work tirelessly so that, during the weeks that the track will be open, users can enjoy a unique experience.

The rink will remain open every day until December 11 with the following schedules:

Sunday to Thursday:
10:00 h – 21:00 h
Friday, Saturday and holiday vigil:
10:00 h – 23:00 h

December 24 and 31
10:00 h to 19:00 h
December 25th
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
January 1st
11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

And if you don’t want to wait in line, now you can avoid it by buying your ticket from the track’s website(HERE).

During these weeks, anyone who wants to enjoy the incredible experience of skating on an icy surface will be able to do so in the heart of Barcelona. And at a very affordable price.
The general prices for access to the rink are 7 € (half hour) or 10 € (one hour). These prices include skates and helmet. The use of gloves is mandatory for skating; in this case they can be worn or purchased at the box office for only 1 €.

Anyone can skate, but in the case of children under 12 years of age, it is mandatory, for safety reasons, that they do so accompanied by an adult.

And for those who are looking for more than just a fun time on skates, stay tuned, because Bargelona will organize many complementary activities. And among these activities are courses to learn to skate on ice and activities that aim to bring the public closer to some of the sports that are practiced on the ice rink. Users can also enjoy, if they wish, what they have called “Begelona Music Weekend”, on weekends the music joins the fun offered by the track to make the experience something unique. There will be exhibitions.
