Barcelona prepares to receive the superyachts of the America's Cup of Sailing

Barcelona’s ports are preparing to welcome an impressive fleet of superyachts this October, coinciding with the most exciting weeks of the America’s Cup.

With three large marinas, Port Vell, Vela and Port Forum, the city expects to welcome boats up to 120 meters in length, marking a milestone in the history of this prestigious nautical event.

For the past two years, the event organizers have been working closely with BWA Yachting to manage superyacht berths in the city.

This agreement has generated unprecedented demand, with 300 berths available between the three facilities that are expected to be fully occupied during the month of October. Even the months of August and September, traditionally quieter in terms of occupancy in the city’s marinas, are experiencing exceptional demand.
