The fantastic Creueta del Coll swimming pool (artificial lake)

La Creueta del Coll is a spectacular swimming pool in Barcelona located in the upper part of Gràcia from where you can enjoy the best views of the city. This space is an artificial lake in the middle of a hilly park in the neighborhood of El Coll in the district of Gràcia.

Grand Hotel Central’s swimming pool among the best in Europe

It has a large square of 60,000 square meters and picnic areas, as well as the famous sculpture “In Praise of Water” by Eduardo Chillida. It is only 60 centimeters deep so it is wonderful for children.

The lake is located in what used to be a quarry in the Coll neighborhood, which was transformed into a public park in 1987. The lake has 2,100 square meters of water surface, 60 centimeters deep and capacity for 800 people.
