Get to know the world of sailing at the America's Cup Experience in Barcelona

Barcelona now offers a unique experience for those who wish to immerse themselves in the exciting world of sailing: America’s Cup Experience (Moll d’Espanya, s/n, Ciutat Vella).

This immersive exhibition, located in the IMAX of the Port Vell, next to the Maremàgnum, offers visitors the opportunity to explore the world’s most prestigious sailing competition and the oldest trophy in the sport of sailing.

With an area of 2,500 square meters, America’s Cup Experience is the first Official Outreach Center of the 37th edition of the America’s Cup Barcelona. The exhibit is designed to immerse visitors in the thrill and adrenaline of racing, offering a variety of interactive and technological experiences.

One of the highlights of the exhibition is a 128-square-meter LED screen, which projects videos narrating the history of the competition and broadcasts live races.

In addition, visitors can enjoy sailing simulators, life-size replicas of the AC75 boats, and a 360-degree sensory experience that captures the thrill of competing in a sailing regatta.

The exhibition is divided into two parts. The first part, which is free to enter, allows visitors to explore the ins and outs of the world’s most important regattas and their history, as well as the importance of technology and sustainability in racing.

The second part, which offers a technological and immersive experience, requires the purchase of tickets.

In the second area of the exhibition, visitors can enjoy an immersive experience based on movement, interaction and technology.

From the “time tunnel” to the projection of the movie “One Hell of a Battle” on a 611 square meter screen, attendees are completely immersed in the world of the America’s Cup.

Immersive simulators

One of the most exciting aspects of the exhibition are the AC75 immersive simulators, unique in the world and designed exclusively for the center.

These simulators, which seat 10 people each, offer visitors the opportunity to become part of the crew and experience the thrills of racing in real time.

In addition to the technological experiences, America’s Cup Experience also offers premium dining options. With two gastronomic spaces designed by renowned chef Albert Ventura, visitors can enjoy signature cuisine while enjoying the magnificent views of the harbor.
